Kolkata Knight Riders Win IPL 2012

The final match of the DLF IPL 5th edition held yesterday (27 May 2012) at M. A. Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai between Shahrukh Khan’s Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK). It was a high scoring T20 match which both teams passed 190 marks on their innings.

Total of 14 sixes and 31 boundaries were recorded in the match and most of them came from Suresh Raina’s and Manvinder Bisla’s bat. Both players were out of form this year’s IPL and haven’t delivered before this match. Suresh Raina got some starts but haven’t converted it a fifty or a big hundred. But he seems pretty consistent as he scored more than 400 runs in every IPL edition since the begging. Bisla in other hand, this is his best score in his IPL carrier.
