Motorola DROID 2 Global is a CDMA device released in November, 2010. It was running Android v2.2 (Froyo). Unlike Motorola DROID 2 (A955), this device received an official update with Android v2.3 Gingerbread. But you can upgrade further by using a custom ROM from this page.

The development for the device does not continue at the moment, mainly because hardware issues. Hardware on Motorola DROID 2 Global does not support latest versions of Android. So we can’t expect new Android custom ROMs to be released for this device in the future.
