G-Data Internet Security 2012 makes the lowest impact on computer performance. It’s very fast and has almost no effect on PC startup and shutdown process. It scans faster than others & has excellent virus detection and blocking rate. It probably gives the best & fast protection comparing to other security software on this list. Nothing can beat it with performance and protection. But it’s far behind others when it comes to interface. That’s why it’s on #3 position. interface is so complicated & a newbie will find it very hard to deal with it.

Kaspersky Lab Internet Security 2012 is above average comparing to its competition. However file transfers between PCs can take few extra seconds comparing to others in the list. Which leave it at #2 position on the list.

Its manual scanning process is taking bit more time comparing to other top 2 competitors but still detection & disinfection rate is higher. It’ll significantly slow you PC performance. But yet it takes #1 position due to overall performance.

So don’t buy Internet Security software just because it’s on number one position. All programs in this list does great job to protect your PC. Just pick what suits you best.
