I have been into crypto since an year or so ago. Lately I was really interested in staking because trading proved to be challenging. So I decided I would rather invest in some good project than trading. The project I pick is NEO. This post will include my journey through investing in NEO.
Update #1 – 4th December 2018
I’m not going to throw a lot of $$$ towards this project. My starting budget is around $220. I was able to get 29 NEO with that amount. I purchased them on Binance and transferred to Neon wallet. NEO will start producing GAS immediately. I’m planning to buy more NEO in the coming weeks. Until then, I’ll cherish 29 NEO I have.

Update #2 – 11th December 2018
It has been a week since I brought my first 29 NEOs. They are sitting on my wallet accumulation GAS. As of the time of writing, I have 0.05732384 unclaimed GAS.
The reason I’m posting this update because I decided to buy 20 more NEO. The price dropped below $6 today. And I was able to get them for $5.86 per coin. I had little BTC left after buying 20 NEOs, so I decided to get GAS for that. They came at a $1.72 per token. I got 2.73 GAS.

Update #3 – 23rd December 2018
Last few days were green for crypto market. There were good opportunities for quick swing trades. I did a one swing trade and made a profit of 3 NEO. Which brought my total NEO holdings to 52. I also brought 16 more NEOs during the dip. They came at $6.68 per coin.
Now I’m holding a total of 68 NEO. I’ve also added 2.26 GAS to my holdings. And the total GAS dividends accumulated are 0.25281818. I’m in nice profit at the moment. Hope the market have bottomed out. Let’s do some calculations.

Update #4 – 1st January 2019
Today is the start of a brand new year. And I claimed GAS dividends for the first time. I was holding 68 NEOs the last time I posted an update to this. I’ve made a quick trade in between which resulted in increasing my NEO holding to 70. This will bring my Cost per NEO (DCA) little further down. Total GAS dividends I claimed today was 0.41389420. So let’s do some calculations.

Update #5 – 1st February 2019
I was holding 70 NEO on my last update. I’ve increased it to 75 NEO during last month. I was only able to do just one trade though there were many opportunities. I didn’t want to lose a trade and decrease my holdings. So I held my self back from opening more trades. Anyways, this further decreases my Cost per NEO (DCA). I also claimed my GAS dividends for the January. It was 0.70040083 GAS.

Update #6 – 1st March 2019
February was a great month for crypto. By far the greatest month since I started this project. There were lot of green in the market. And many opportunities for good trades. I managed to do a one trade last month and increase my NEO holdings to 85. I also claimed 0.59498203 GAS for the month of February. GAS dividend were lower for the last month mainly because I was in a long trade last month. Plus the month only had 28 days.
