The 8th season of the popular TV show “How I Met Your Mother’ will starts airing on 3rd Monday of September this year. The season 7 ended leaving great begging to the season 8. It’s hard to think which way the story is going in season 8. Let’s try to guess.
Barney and Quinn
Last episode of the season 7 revealed that Robin (Cobie Smulders) is the Barney’s (Neil Patrick Harris) bride. It was a bit shock to me because; we also saw Barney getting engaged to Quinn (Becki Newton) at the same episode. So one thing is clear, this relationship is going to end in season 8. And it’s not going to end well. However it’s sad to see them break up. I actually enjoy seeing them together. Quinn does look the one for Barney. But not to forget they have this one thing between them that probably lead them to the break up. Yes Quinn’ job, Barney is clearly not happy with Quinn’s being a Striper. And Quinn is so happy with it, she may refuse quit it.
Ted and Victoria
And we also saw Victoria (Ashley Williams) running away with Ted (Josh Radnor). And I’m certain that this story is also not going to end well. But I have the feeling that we’ll see Victoria in season 8 more the ever. Victoria can’t be the mother. Ted will meet real mother in Barneys wedding, which probably will be the last episode of season 8. Until then Ted needs someone to be with. That’s where Victoria comes in. They will stay happy for some time in season 8. And it’ll clear Robin’s way to get back together with Barney again as well.
Barney and Robin
It’s confirmed that Barney and Robin will get married. I’m not guessing this depending on last episode of season 7. Creators have confirmed to TV.com that they get married. So I expect no twists on season 8. For a moment I thought it may be a double wedding. Things between Barney and Robin in season 5 were not looked well. I always hated to see them together. It was a horrible relationship which ended horribly. However they may make it together. Or it’s possible they may get divorced in the future. I’m just guessing.
Ted and His Kids Mother
Ted will finally meet who he was searching for years in season 8. It’s hard to guess who she could be. Probably someone we haven’t seen yet. It’ll be nice to see how they fall in love. And it is always nice to see Ted’s happy.
Marshall, Lily and “Wait For If Eriksen’
They will stay happy as hell in this season as well. Creator will not try to make changes in their life. They are perfect together. And we may see lots of interesting stories about their baby “Marvin Wait for it Eriksen’ in the season 8.
So those are my guesses for season 8. The people who write this story think way ahead us. There’s no guarantee on anything. There’s a possibility that this show will end with season 8. It’s not confirmed yet. Creators themself not sure if there’s going to be a season 9 or story will end with season 8. Either way you can expect season 8 to be Legend (Wait for it) Dairy.
